Description

I got this recipe from a co-worker in the early 1990's.  If I recall correctly, she got it from a Colombian monk.  I made it for a party and served it in a punch bowl.  I knew it was a hit when I found a guest draining the last drop out of the punch bowl...directly into his mouth.

Makes
1 GALLON

3 liters red wine

½ liter lemon/lime soda

1 lemon, squeezed

1 juice orange, squeezed

1 apple, peeled and cut into ½ inch pieces

¼ kilogram (around 1 cup) superfine sugar

¼ liter gin

1 cup brandy

1 cup anisette

1 cup sweet vermouth

 

Methods/steps

Mix all together and chill overnight.  Serve over ice.
