Professional Endeavors

BARTENDING
dsc_1385We plan and host private and public events.  We offer professional services to restaurants, bars, and drinks companies such as cocktail and product development, marketing, bar design, and menu creation.

JUDGING
We are professional tasters with experience judging wine and spirits. We've been involved in new product focus groups, product competitions, and tasting notes for publications.

EDUCATION
We can teach you about everything from absinthe to zinfandel.  We have experience teaching the home enthusiast as well as the professional hospitality employee in a classroom format or in an informal tasting.   Topics might include:   whiskey and cheese pairing, basics of bartending, understanding wine styles, improving sales.  

WRITING
We have written a column called "Cantinero's Corner" for The Baja Citizen and contributed articles to other local newspapers.  Some of our other work can be found on AOL Slashfood Backyard Poultry epicurious.com.

We are fleshing out ideas for a Casa Cóctel recipe book.  We are also currently working on a book detailing the history of eggs in drinks with the very talented Aleš Olasz as photographer.  LeNell needs to get up off her arse and write the next big American whiskey book.
